One of James' latest things is "typing on the white rectanlge" (Microsoft Word to you and I ...) and then printing it out. He can now type out his name, Mummy and Daddy without help - and he's nearly there with Rebekah too. He asks me how to spell all sorts of words and then looks for the letters on the keyboard. It's been great to watch. :0)

Geting the giggles ... well, sounds ARE funny!
Thought he was going to bust something here ... He started spelling gobbledegook and so I was saying it outloud ... . It all started when he accidentally spelt "Oiii!" which he thought was he thought it was hilarious - and now that tends to be one of the first things he wants to type.
Playing the Leapfrog Explorer game and a cute big brother/little sister moment!
We got this Leapfrog Explorer game for James for his birthday. It's only been fairly recently that he's got more into it and it definitely has improved his interest in letters and spelling. Got this sweet bit of video the other week when James was teaching Bekah how to play ...
Hamming it up for the video ...
... and returning to his former glory "The Cowboy Song" video featured on this blog months ago!
Getting rid of the pink ...
We've started decorating the kids' bedrooms now. James was very pleased to get rid of the hot pink walls in the room which will be his ... He really enjoyed helping us paint too (for about 5 minutes). We're really pleased with how the room has turned out ... no prizes for guessing the theme ... :0) More photos to follow.
Thrilling threading ....
Remember, remember the 5th of November, Gun Powder, Treason and Plot ...
We celebrated the 5th November going to see the local fireworks display with Mark, Lisa and Warren, Jackie and Josh (some friends from church). James really got into the fireworks this year. Bekah was less sure and spent most of the display cuddled up with Uncle Mark!

A week in Norfolk
A few weeks ago (while Daddy had to go to Singapore for work), the munchkins and I decided to head up to Norfolk to see Nanny, Grandad, Auntie Cat and Auntie Lin. It was half term which meant no pre-school or other regular activities so it seemed like the perfect opportunity - and helped Mummy not go round the bend!!! We had a lovely time but surprisingly for me I only took photos one day. On our last day we went to Wells-Nex-the-Sea. I'd never been before and it was such a great day out.
