I don't seem to have had many photos of me and Kezia and so I was really pleased to get this one. We had a great time in the woods with Kezia and Grandma and Grandad!

A walk in the woods ...
Last week we decided to go on an expedition to the woods at the Look Out Discovery Centre in Bracknell. Before we left we packed a bag of things we might need - a magnifying glass, a torch/flashlight (a birthday pressie from Mark and Lisa!), a magnet, some crayons, some paper and of course some snacks. James decided to be a chivalrous older brother ... and said Bekah should carry the backpack! To be fair it was her pink one ...
We had fun although 2 minutes after I took this photo James trod in the biggest pile of dog poo I have ever seen .... This put Mummy in a foul (pardon the pun) mood until she gave herself a shake and decided just to go with it! I got some great photos ... if I do say so myself!
When I first put the backpack on, her legs gave way under the weight ...
But she really wanted to keep it on and she stuck with it ... I didn't realize it was that heavy!

Since it was technically Grandma's 61st birthday ... we decided to get 40 and 21 decorations ....

So Auntie Caroline put together this word search for her to do. It had the clues to what we were doing the next day (the beach hut)!

We both got these zip-up hoodies from Old Navy in America years ago when Auntie Sarah came out to visit ... they are soooooooooo useful and we often end up wearing them at the same time!! When we bought them we didn't think it mattered that it was the same since we were living on different sides of the planet ..... I guess it's more of an issue now! ;0)
James had some pressies too - from Auntie Caroline and Uncle Adrain ...

Grandma and her beach hut!
Last weekend we all went away to celebrate Grandma's birthday. We didn't get to celebrate her 60th last year due to a few complications (.... namely, Grandma!!!) so we postponed it until her birthday this year. As she's always wanted a beach hut we hired one for the day and we all spent the weekend together in Teignmouth, Devon. It was brilliant! Here she is with Bekah at the beach huts at Dawlish Warren.
