Last week we went to the Look Out Discovery Centre with our friends Catherine, James and Emily. They do "Toddler Days" once a month and this was one of them. It was brilliant and we had a great time. Our two loved the water play area best I think.

Last week we went to the Look Out Discovery Centre with our friends Catherine, James and Emily. They do "Toddler Days" once a month and this was one of them. It was brilliant and we had a great time. Our two loved the water play area best I think.

The first sign that James has inherited his Daddy's passion for electronic games??
James loved this game and played it loads - although he was starting to lose interest by the time I did this video. He had figured out what to do before I'd got there (too busy extricating Bekah from climbing on chairs...). I think he's getting in Wiiiiiiiiiiii training ...
The two James' get their faces painted ...
Our James has never had his face painted before, and never shown the slightest interest in doing it so I didn't even bother going to the face painting room earlier ... But later on when we all met up again the other James wanted his face painted ... and the next thing I knew James wanted his done too! He was very sweet - he said it tickled which I think is why he was smiling so much.

I'm so amazed James sat still long enough for this - it's amazing what a little peer pressure can do! James was really chuffed with his new look.

The Great Sunflower Race ...
You may remember this photo from back in April when the grandkids all planted sunflower seeds with Grandad to see who could grow the tallest ... well, it's time to judge the competition ...

Grandma's Gliders ...
Last week Grandma gave James some gliders to play with and since it was quite windy the other day we tried them out. James thought it was really funny when they nose-dived ... Thanks, Grandma!

Let's go fly a kite ... up to the highest height ...
Ages ago I got this Cars kite and we've been waiting for a suitably windy day to try it out ... Since the gliders were a bit of a hit I decided we'd go to the park later that day. This photo makes it look like it was a resounding success .... This was probably about the one and only time we really got it flying ... and lasted about as long as it took to take this photo ... Oh well, it was fun trying!
They quickly found out that kite flying just involves alot of running about ...
They both loved chasing the tail on the kite ... had to be careful they (we) didn't get all tangled up!
Another weekend in Norfolk ....
A couple of weekends ago we went back up to stay with Dan's family in Norfolk. Once again we had a brilliant time!
James with the Birthday Boy - Uncle Kev!
It was Kev's birthday the day we arrived and so we got to see quite a bit of him this weekend.
The Peacock family are very industrious when it comes to sand castle building ... and I think that may have been passed on to the next generation!
It was so cool to see all the siblings having so much fun at the beach together. ;0) Another "this is what we moved back to england for" moment!!!

That night we had a chocolate fondue/fountain in the kitchen - yummy!
