Since we are now officially Bird Watchers James and I made bird seed pictures the other day!

Looks like Bekah is going to take after her father when it comes to numbers ...

(Anyone else hear her Daddy breathe a sigh of relief?!?!)

Little Miss Pinky Finger!

Despite being born in America you can definitely see evidence of Bekah's British roots ... she's almost ready for a proper cup of tea!!! ;0)

A scary monster on the loose ....

The other day as I was changing Bekah upstairs I could hear a shuffling, scuffling sort of noise downstairs .... I discovered these muddy prints in the kitchen ....

The monster seemed to double-back on itself alot .... so it was hard to track it down!

Arrrggghhh!!! What a scary monster!!!

A Jameus Brandonus Peacockum .....
looking very pleased with himself and muttering "look at all these handprints!"

My BRILLIANT Christmas present!!

Dan, James and Bekah surprised me with this FAB bird table for Christmas. I've wanted one for ages and this one is soooo cool!!! I am now officially a Bird Spotter ... and proud of it! ;0)

This is a 5 * bird table you know ... attaching all the extras.

Now we wait for the birds!!

It really is quite addictive watching to see which birds come along. We've had quite a few different ones and James really likes watching too. The photos I took were through the kitchen window on a drizzley day and so they didn't come out that well but still! I LOVE my christmas present!!!

The red, red robin really did come bob, bob bobbin' along!

You can see him sitting on the big stone at the bottom to the left of the table ... just .... then I went and got the zoom lens!

I think he knew we were watching him ....

Eating from the seed tray

You better not be thinking about pooping on the roof!!!!!!

So much choice ...

This Blue Tit seems to prefer the other peanut feeder hanging over the bench.

"She's got that thing!! She's got that thing!!"

The other day when we were just finishing up our dinner the phone rang ... when I came back to the kitchen James was excitedly exclaiming "She's got that thing! She's got that thing!" and Bekah was proudly waving our cake/food protector net thing (anyone know what they're called?!?!) over her head. She'd grabbed it from the table ... she can reach even further than I give her credit for! ;0)

Eating is exhausting ....

Mirror, mirror on the wall ... who is the fairest of them all???

Bekah was grinning at the other baby in the mirror at the end of our bed the other day - James decided to have a look too!

Bekah's favourite food so far ....

Spinach, parsnip and basil!
She couldn't eat it fast enough ....
maybe she's going to grow up to be Popeye!

Does this look like trouble or what?!

This is James' new partner in crime - Benjamin. He's a friend from church and he and his little brother have been over to play a few times now. They have quite a similar temprament and always seem to have fun together! Apparently Benjamin likes having his photo taken and when James saw this he even stopped to pose for a photo too! What a good influence!! ;0)

Bekah and Simeon all wrapped up!

Simeon is Benjamin's little brother and about 2 weeks older than Bekah ... a potential suitor perhaps? ;0)

New scarf and "glubs" from Grandma!

Grandma knitted James a nice cosy, red scarf and got him some gloves/glubs with footballs on. James LOVES them!! Thank you, Grandma!!

"I'm the king of the castle ..."

James likes standing on this mound of dirt in the garden ...
this is where our new shed will go eventually.

Bekah got a new hat from Grandma - she looks so sweet!

[You can really see those toothy-pegs in these photos]

Our two little munchkins ... I love this photo!

She always has her eyes on her big brother ...

If you don't mind the crusty nose I think this is a very cute photo!

Look what wiiiiiii did at Nanny and Grandad's house!

Oh no!!! Not Rebekah too?!?!?!

It looks like Bekah has expensive taste when it comes to cars ...

Here she is trying to decide between a red or a black ferrari .... She loves James' cars.

"Daaaaad, can't I have them both???"

"Ok, ok ... I'll just have the red ferrari then ...."

Bekah and Grandad

Having fun at the Fun Barns!

A place called "Fun Barns" has opened up just down the road from Nanny and Grandad's house - it's an indoor play area with all sorts of bouncy things, fun blocks, ride-on toys, sand pit and farm animals. We all went to check it out one morning - the man on the desk thought it was funny that there was 1 toddler, 1 sleeping baby and 5 adults!!! He thought James must be a real trouble-maker to need that much supervision!

Playing in the sand with Grandad

Who needs California blue sky when you can have a painted brick wall?!?

The wall was painted to look like the sea and the sky ... It's a shame the sand itself was soooo cold! Didn't stop James though ...

Time for a bit of dig, dig, digging!

There was a cool area with lots of sit-on tractors and diggers where you could scoop up lots of wood chips and move them from one pile to another ... perfect for James! ;0)

Bekah and Auntie Cat had fun on the tractor/diggers too!

Feeding the animals

It's like looking in a mirror .... ;0)
