Grandma and Auntie Sarah "have a moment" on the beach! ;0)

Cutie pie cousins share secrets, giggles and kisses!

It was a bit breezy at times ... but it didn't stop the smiles!

Uncle Tris goes for an 80s New Romantic kind of look .... ;0)

(But it didn't slow him down any when he did his 5k fun run the next day in less than 30 mins!!! Way to go, Uncle Tris!!)

Grandad and James go for a paddle ...

Kind of reminds me of the reverse side of this photo (when James was 1) taken at Half Moon Bay ...

Do we look like Americans or what?!?!?! (Please don't answer that ...)

Grandad tries out some facial hair alternatives ...

Time for some classic beach games! It's boules!

Looking a bit wind swept ...

Crabbing at Mudeford quay ...

Lots of people go crabbing off the quay at Mudeford and so James looked in all the buckets.

Smiley husbands ... what are they up to??!

You've got to love your son-in-laws ....

Mum commented that Dad looked short in the first photo I took because he was slouching ... this was the resulting photo ....

Sleeping beauties ... just don't tell them they missed out on ice cream!

Grandma is serious about beach hut hire! ;0)

Me and my big sis!!! ;0)

When it gets hot you better have an ice-cream!!

Grandma and her Smash-a-rooney!

Playing cars with your cousin is the perfect way to end a brilliant day!

Grandma got James and Kezia a car each from the gift shop (Rebekah got an "under the sea" book!) - thank you!

Vital Statistics ...

Finally got round to taking Rebekah for her 1 year weigh in and she is 22lbs 6 oz ... just about 50% percentile. Our little baby is fast becoming a little girl. ;0)

Happy 4th of July!!!

(The dress says "All American Cutie" ... I know she has quite a bit of British in her ... but she's still an American too ... and although I'm biased I think the "cutie" part is 100% accurate!)

Another sweet little American outfit!

Don't let your big brother be your stylist, ok???

Rebekah's hat kept coming off and I noticed James put it back on her a couple of times .... this was the best though!! Do you think she can pull off this look?!?! ;0)

We even put a flag up on the play house!

FINALLY getting it!!

We've been trying to teach Bekah how to climb down the step in our garden for weeks now ... but she still keeps attempting the Indianna Jones Style Leap of Faith ... finally yesterday she started to get how to do it more safely by turning around!

Our miracle beans!

We harvested some beans this week from our miracle "grown-from-a-bean" beans! I am amazed these made it!!! We had them for dinner that night but, sadly, I think I'm the only one who enjoyed them! ;0)

Making a star spangled banner! ;0)

James really enjoyed doing this. He's been doing about rectangles this week at preschool and so that fit rather well! He even took his little American flag for "show and tell" since it was a rectangle. Hope our American audience is proud of us! ;0)

Fireworks!

I even got to do a 4th of July craft with Bekah ...

Some people take red, white and blue so literally!

An indoor picnic ...

James REALLY wanted to have a picnic yesterday but since it was soooo hot I persuaded him to have an indoor one instead.

Time out ....

This is James' "time out" spot ... (The door mat by the back door ... he's been sitting there a fair bit just lately - though not today!) ... only trouble is Rebekah has taken to going and sitting there whenever she wants a bit of peace .... I guess she wants to know what she's missing out on!

Just playin' ...

Life from a different perspective ....

she stayed like this for a while ... more yoga???

Today we made a BIG tent in the living room ... we even rearranged the sofas ...

James loved it! (Rebekah was having her nap) Mummy was completely hot and bothered by the time we'd "pitched the tent" but it was worth it to see those smiles. James asked if he could "help" with moving the sofas ... He leaned up against one, groaned and said "this is hard work!" ... then waited for Mummy to do the rest! ;0)

Later we made a little tent ... (Mummy wasn't up for moving the furniture again!)

But this provided just as much enjoyment for all involved!
