Bekah did NOT like how noisy the monster trucks where!

She didn't really get too upset but she snuggled up to Grandma and covered her ears the whole time. :0)

Fruit picking with Auntie Cat!

Auntie Cat came down to stay last weekend and so we had a great time with her, Uncle Mark and Auntie Lisa. On Friday the munchkins and I had her all to ourselves and so we decided to check out a pick-your-own farm that we'd never been to before. The kids really enjoyed it and Mummy was very grateful to have Auntie Cat's expertise!

Strawberries first!!!

On to the rasberries!

Checking out the harvest ...

A family that wii's together .... :0)

We had a brilliant weekend with Auntie Cat, Uncle Mark and Auntie Lisa!

Open Day at Caversham Court by the River Thames ...

A week or two we went to investigate a place called Caversham Court near to where Grandma and Grandad live. It's just supposed to be a pretty place next to the River but on the day we finally got round to going it turned out to be a special Open Day with lots of free activities for the kids to enjoy. Even came away with some free t-shirts for the munchkins!

James loved this tunnel maze ...

Bekah enjoyed the tennis ...

Seal slippers from Nanny and Grandad ...

When we saw Nanny and Grandad the other weekend they gave Bekah these seal slippers from their holiday to Scotland. She really loves them, although she keeps calling them her MEAL slippers ....

Here she was talking to them ....

James thought I should take a photo of Rebekah's bear, Chuckles too ...

Even the cars get a story in this house ...

Overheard Bekah telling the cars to listen to the story ... Made me smile that she'd picked outa car book ... not sure if that was deliberate! :0)

Something to read in the loo ...

I know, I know ... have I no respect for my son's privacy?!?! But James looked so sweet studying his car book when he was sat on the loo that I just couldn't resist getting the camera ... :0)

Introducing Rebekah Peacock the artiste ...

Bekah did this drawing all by herself ... I helped her peel the googley eyes off the backing, and asked whether one of them needed a mouth (which she then added herself) but the rest of it was all her own work. When I asked her if they had names she said "It's Mr Hair and Mr Potato!" :0) Really made me laugh!

Enjoying a chocolate roll ...

Bekah really reminds me of ME when I was little in these photos. I remember a photo very similar to this that I'm going to try and get hold of and compare!

Princess Bekah the fairy (and James) in the tent ...

An unsuccessful puddle hunt ... but a good run/play at Ashenbury Park instead!

Bath time!

Got some really cute photos of Bekah in the bath the other day. Most of them I didn't want to post on the blog - but this grin was just too good not to post! :0)

Big Girl Bed for Bekah!

We'd been planning on waiting until we were in the new house before we put Bekah in a big girl's bed but since that has all been delayed, and since Dan found her with her leg hanging over the cot a week ago, and since she fell into the bath head first recently ... we decided to bring that forward! Mainly due to a lack of space we decided in the end to get her a toddler bed. She loves it! I think she's fallen out about 3 times but that's not bad going really!

Hiding under the covers ...

She's not a pink fairy kind of girl ... so we decided to go with a bug theme with the covers! We've got some cool ideas about how we'd like to decorate her room when we finally get into our new house so watch this space ...

She really enjoyed the experience of dismantling the crib ... it involved lots of bouncing ...

In the cage ...

Bekah: Mummy, my in a cage!
Mummy: Oh, are you a tiger?
Bekah: No ... my just a rabbit ...
:0)

"Helping" Daddy put the bed together ...

She was VERY excited when it was finished ...

Making a big girls' bed for baby ....

Kissing baby good night ... :0)
It's amazing what you can do with a cereal box and some scraps of material! ;0)

The convertible cars take a day trip to the beach ...

James announced the other day that since it was such a sunny day the convertible cars wanted to go to the beach ... so we made one out of some crepe paper and pebbles! It really made me smile that he opened all the doors because he said they were too hot and were sunbathing! ;0)

Sleepy boy ...

James fell asleep in front of the TV while I was dishing up dinner the other night ... It's the first time he's done that in ages ... so I couldn't resist taking a few photos. Bekah looked decidedly unimpressed ...
