Amy and Rebekah on the Thomas train ride

James, Hayley and Dan got to meet The Fat Controller (as he's called in the UK!)

"Bye Mr Fat Controller/Sir Topham Hat!!"

Lunch time!

Bekah fell asleep just before lunch chewing on the pushchair strap ...

James and Hayley found a way around the fact that there was only one stroller ...

Not sure if this breaks the "No Purple" rule?! ;0)

The two lovebirds even shared some frozen lemonade ... it was really sweet to watch them share.

Hayley was so good at making sure it was "mashed up" enough for James to be able to get it - she'll obviously take good care of him when they get married!!

Looks like there might be another little long-distance romance blossoming ... ??

Our future son-in-law?? ;0)

Once she got over the cold ... I think Bekah liked the frozen lemonade!

Another ride ... this time to get wet!!!

Yep ... we got a *bit* damp ...

At the sea lions ... where Rebekah nearly got us thrown out of the park!!

Bekah ws really interested in the sea lions and was peering over to look at them ... I was just thinking "I really ought to take her dummy/pacifier/binky out ..." when she spat it out!!! Since people were feeding the sea lions at the time one of them immediately grabbed it!! Oh no!!! We told an attendant ... who asked us which one got it ... "errr, the grey one?" But whichever one it was obviously realized their mistake and spat it out and eventually they were able to hook it out of the pool with a net (after another one grabbed it!!). It was really funny but I am very glad none of them swallowed it!
[I stole the top two photos from Amy - thanks!]

Seeing the sting ray was cool

(Thanks Karen for taking this photo for me while I had an armful of Bekah!!)

Bekah makes a new friend ...

When we went to see the Walrus he was swimming up and down the tank watching all the kids, clapping his flippers ... it was really cool to watch. Although he liked all the kids he seemed to be fascinated with Bekah ... and the feeling was obviously mutual! Wonder what they were BOTH thinking ...

It's behind you!!!!

I am so surprised Bekah wasn't freaked out!!! ;0)

The kids really wanted to go back to the rides

Apparently this was one of the first rides Hayley went on when she was big enough and so she wanted to take James on it. It went up pretty high!

I think it's safe to say they all enjoyed this one .. ;0) So cute!!

Time for one last ride before the park closes ...

James had so much fun with Trevor and Hayley - and even posed for some photos!

I love all the face expressions in these photos. ;0)

The three amigos!

Batman ...AKA Trevor!

Sean and Amy bought Trevor, Hayley and James superhero capes at the end of the day and they had great fun with them. Thank you!!

Superheroes have to run fast to be able to take-off ...

They were so sweet running around at the end of the day to get their superheroe capes flying in the wind! James watching the way Trevor held onto his cape to get it to fly - then did the same. Very cute.

The three super heroes walk off into the sunset ...

What a great photo to end a great day!

Yosemite Day 1 - Yosemite Valley Floor

First stop - Bridal Veil Falls!

James looking a bit worried ....

There was so much spray coming off the falls that there was water pouring all down the pathway leading up to it. Daddy and James went for a closer look and although James looks worried in this photo he really enjoyed it. Good job we had his mac!!!

"Mummy, will James and Daddy come back?!?!?!"

I selflessly volunteered to stay behind with Bekah and the stroller/pushchair!

Big, hairy caterpillar!

While we were having our lunch we spotted this big, hairy caterpillar on a fence post.

Bekah was fascinated ....

Daddy had to keep hold of her hands so she didn't reach out and grab it!

Daddy and James in front of a BIG ROCK!!!

This was on the walk to Mirror Lake.
(This is one of my new favourite photos of my handsome hubbie and our handsome son!)

I think this must be Half Dome

Daddy teaching his children how to skim stones on the water ....

James prefered the "Big Plop" technique ... ;0)

Rebekah looks decidedly unimpressed ...

Scenic shot ...

Taking a break

Daddy pointing out things of interest ...
