Daffodil Days ...

James and I did this craft this time last year, and both really enjoyed it and so (with some modifications!) we all did it again this year.
It's been a rough few weeks, to be honest, but seeing these smiles in these photos is a good reminder to Mummy of all she has to be thankful for! :0)

Scooter Girl ...

This was a Christmas present and the weather has finally been nice enough to get it out of the box ... Mummy had trouble putting it together last week and so Daddy, the hero, put it together for Bekah at the weekend. ;0)

Bekah finds a solution to the bad hair day ...

This was Bekah shortly after I posted the "bad hair day" photos on the blog the other night ...

Not sure if it's been a Bad Hair Day or a Farrah Fawcett Day for Bekah ...

Baking cakes ...

This afternoon James went to spend the afternoon with Grandad so after Bekah had her nap we baked some cakes. Bekah loved it (and so did Mummy!)

Not quite so smiley when I told her it was time to get down and take off the apron ...

(had to tell the full story)

Behind on blogging ... again ....

[PS Do you like Mummy's new glasses??]

The Look Out Discovery Centre with Grandma and Grandad

We had a fun hour (even though it felt like about 5 hours ...) - we arrived at the same time as a group from a nursery and so it was all a bit chaotic. ;0)

Playing in the sunshine

We've had a few bright, sunny days this week and so were able to play in the garden on Monday ... needless to say, they loved it!

New boots!

We got James' feet measured recently and realized his wellies were way too small! So we got some new boots yesterday ... and I ended up getting Bekah a new pair of winter boots ... just because. ;0) This photo is actually really bad of the boots themselves (James' have spiderman on, and Bekah's have butterflies ...) but it was quite a sweet one of the two of them.

Two little monkey mates ... at Monkey Mates!

We had a girls outing to Monkey Mates a few weeks ago (shush, don't tell James!) with Auntie Sarah and Kezia. The big girls were exhausted by the end of it ... the little girls had a great time!

A random smiley photo of our big boy!

A terrific treasure hunt!

Over half term James had a treasure hunt to do for pre-school. He had to try and find some things from a list and stick them to this sheet. He had so much fun doing it and was really proud to get everything on the list. Thanks to all the grandparents, aunts and uncles who contributed! ;0) You can also (just about) see how good James is getting at copying his name. If you write it down he can copy over the top. He's getting really good with his alphabet too ... he even says ZED rather than Zeeeeeeeeeee - and I know it means the alphabet song doesn't rhyme ... but at least he's getting it right! ;0)

A weekend in Norfolk

A couple of weekends ago we went up to Norfolk to see Nanny, Grandad, Auntie Cat, Uncle Kev and Auntie Lin. We had a lovely time but I didn't take too many photos and most of them where rubbish! Here are a couple of the best ones.

Tinkling the ivories with Uncle Kev ...

She discovered how to open the lid (?not a musician ... is there a proper term for it??) on Nanny's piano and kept trying to have a go...

Story on the stairs ...

Bekah can be a nightmare on the stairs ... she just takes FOREVER - and not because she can't do it ... she just really dawdles ... A week or two ago she was carrying a book downstairs and just stopped to have a read ... I happened to be taking the camera down so took a couple of pictures. She looked sweet .... but it is soooooooooooo frustrating!!!!!

Is he early ... or is he late? Is he doing research for the "naughty or nice" list?

A couple of weeks ago James suddenly asked where his Santa costume was as he really wanted to dress up ... James isn't normally one for dressing up and so it came a bit out of the blue! He even ASKED for a photo ... He looks very cute, don't you think?

And so it begins ...

I've always suspected Bekah is going to be a Gamer like her Daddy .... ;0)

Happy (Belated) Valentine's Day ... but every day is Valentine's Day, right???

We had fun with red paint, stickers and hearts ... and it's a coincidence that both kids are wearing red ... honest!
