Little Miss Red Brick Dust Bottom ...

I love these pictures ...

One of our little monkeys!

Grandad got out the sit-on mower ... James LOVED driving it all around the garden!

Who else thinks Grandad might regret not paying attention??? ;0)

WATCH OUT FOR THAT TREE!!!

Our Little Dare Devil was less keen ...

In fact at one point she ran up the garden shouting "monster coming! monster coming!" ...

Our munckins aren't the only ones who love to get mucky! Auntie Cat's dog, Chloe, is pretty at home in the compost heap! ;0)

Our little man ...

Playing Downfall with Auntie Lin!

Old MacDonald had a farm .... eeeeee - iiiiiiiiiiiiiii - eeeeeeeeeeee - iiiiiiiiiiiiiiii- ooooooooooooooooo!

Got the farm stuff out of the loft/attic the other week - they really enjoyed playing with something different.

Obviously it wasn't long before the farm became a car park ...

This is Bekah's "surprised" face .... ;0)

Naughty Bus ... the re-make!

The other week when I was at the book conference I got James a book called "Naughty Bus" by Jan Oke. It's a bit of a weird story but all the pictures are real-life photos of a toy bus in various situations. It really captured James' imagination (as I suspected it would) and one morning he asked Daddy if they could set up a scene from the book using blocks and then take a photo. We did another scene later in the day. I realize these photos won't mean much if you've never seen the book but still ... was quite fun to do!

Next scene ... the bus "queue" .... A number of random toy figures waiting in line for the bus ... and it doesn't stop ...

I just LOVED Bekah's accessorizing ..... she's obviously got an eye for Props! ;0)

The finished "Bus Queue" shots!

Playing with Cousin Kezia ...

Today I have been at the Federation of Children's Book Groups Conference (yes, I know it's a mouthful!) and since Dan was doing sound/projections at church we asked Auntie Sarah and Uncle Tris if they would look after the munckins for us. By all accounts, they had a brilliant time! Here are just a couple of the pics they took - check out the Browning Blog for more - http://newbrowningadventures.blogspot.com/

I can only imagine .... apparently there were LOTS of giggles!

Thank you, Auntie Sarah, Uncle Tris and Kezia for having so much fun with our two little munckins!

Spring Sunshine ...

This week we have seen some sun (yey!) and so we've spent quite a lot of time in the garden. It was also an ideal opportunity for the munchkins to wear their new cool shades (thanks to Auntie Lisa for bringing them back from her last trip to New York!) and for Bekah to try out her new sun hat!

Scooter Showdown ... the race was on - even if it was only a few feet!

[Posted out of sequence because I forgot to put them on earlier!]

Now the sunshine is here we can get the water table out again!

And of course ... what's good enough for Big Bro ...

I LOVE how industrious toddlers are when it comes to "painting" with water ... They looked so cute. ;0)

Painting with water requires a huge amount of concentration ... apparently ...

James continues to be interested in taking photos ...

Are we his muses ... or is he just glad to be on the other side of the camera for a change?! I'll let you decide ...

Somebody was VERY chuffed to be wearing one of her big brother's car t-shirts ...

Little Miss Green Fingers? Or Little Miss Muddy Fingers? I'm not sure but I am SURE that this kept Bekah amused for ages!

Shaving Foam Fun ...

I've been meaning to do this with the kids for ages. The other day Bekah decided to "colour in" her arm with bright pink pen .... and as I was trying to scrub her clean I was reminded of it! This was the perfect way to have fun and get her clean at the same time!

"Hello, dude."

We were egg-stremely busy at Easter ...

Both James and Bekah enjoyed decorating these eggs and we did it multiple times!

Big Family Easter Get-Together

On Good Friday we had a family get-together at Grandma and Grandad's house. Mummy's cousin, Sam and her husband and two boys came too. We had a really brilliant day. It was brilliant to catch up and to see the kids all playing together. This is James with George and Harry. Thanks Grandma for such a great meal (for 15!) and thanks Grandad for moving all the furniture around!
