Me and my Mummy!!!

Every walker needs a good stick!

What's that strange creature behind the tree?!?!

A bit of English countryside .... (including football posts ... and a bin!)

Mr Rosie Cheeks! (He did walk a very long way on those little legs!)

The apple of her mother (and father's) eye!

First photo of the first tooth ....

The second one broke through on Christmas day but you can't see it in this photo

Opening presents with Daddy

BIG Christmas present time!!

Grandma and Grandad (who I'm sure *forgot* that we live in a little house ...... ;0) ) bought a present for James that was taller than he is! His little face was a picture ....

What is it? What is it?!?!! James was so excited!!!

WOW!!! It's a HUGE car transporter!!!

Thank you, Grandma and Grandad - this was a BIG hit!

Bekah likes playing with it too!

In fact, I've since decided that she's going to be a Biker Chick as she LOVES the motorbikes that came with it! Everytime I turn around she seems to have got hold of one ... Just be careful where you get a tattoo, ok?!?!?

Which one is Rudolph?!

Wearing comedy christmas reindeer antlers with Grandma. I love this photo!!

Bekah's first Christmas dinner (sprouts, carrots and potato ...) ... she wasn't too impressed!

Quick! Wash it down with some red wine!!!

James REALLY enjoyed his Christmas dinner!

Wearing silly Christmas cracker crowns!

[Bekah does not look amused ....]

On Christmas Day by Grandma and Grandad's tree

Opening stocking presents

A feast for Father Christmas ...

James was so excited to see that FC had eaten the mince pies and the reindeer had eaten the carrots that we left out for them.

What girl doesn't like a bit of sparkle??!

Bekah was particularly mezmorized by the silver, glittery decorations.

"If I just wiggle a little bit more ..."

She sure is determined sometimes!

Making a Christmas Cake!

Dan decided to make a Christmas cake this year, it was a bit of a last minute decision so here he and James are on Christmas Eve! I think it's going to be one of our new traditions.

Checking the recipe that his Mum emailed .... ;0)

The finished product!!

And very yummy it was too!
[Because it was a little late in the day that Dan decided to make a Christmas cake there weren't any Christmas cake decorations left which is why we have Winnie the Pooh ones!]

Thank You ...

to everyone who sent cards and presents for Christmas!!! Sorry that we haven't been in touch yet but just wanted you to know how much we appreciated it!! Here are a few teaser photos ... hope to blog more in the next few days!

Opening stockings on Christmas morning

James was really funny and didn't want to open his presents for ages ("Keep them closed!!!!") - ... Bekah was so happy with her stocking and was all over the presents!!!

[Note: they're both wearing their new In The Night Garden PJ's ... For our American audience, it's a children's tv show that is all the rage over here. Even more surreal than Teletubbies but both James and Bekah love it!!]

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!

Hope you've all received your Christmas cards with this family picture in by now - but just in case you haven't ...

Our special 6 month old little pudding!!

Bekah was 6 months old last week and so I took her to the baby clinic to get her weighed. She's now 16lbs 6oz and is doing really well - especially since she'd been sick and so was off food for a couple of weeks. Not quite the porker James was at this age (he was 21lbs!!) but I think she's going to be more delicate than her big brother! She had 3 shots that day too ... and didn't even notice she had them!!! She was so busy studying the nurse that she didn't react at all. The nurse and I were both expecting her to scream but it never happened! What a brave little girl!
Oh, in other news - she finally had her first tooth break through this morning!!!! We knew it was on the way but it finally came ... just in time for Christmas!!! ;0)
PS This is my new favourite photo of Bekah!!!

As snug as a bug in a rug!

We got Bekah a new cosy jacket for the winter. It's still a bit big and so she's a bit swamped in it at the moment but she'll grow into it!! ;0)

Wooly hats all round!

I've even managed to get James to keep his hat on now too - it must be getting colder! I think they both look so sweet.

I know I'm biased but isn't this little face cute?!!

Watching James out of the kitchen window

I love watching James exploring from the kitchen window.
It's no wonder I never get anything done!!!

My new favourite photos of James!!!

Sometimes the hat slips down a bit and can make chores like watering the plants a bit tricky ...

The hat makes it tricky to steer the dump truck too ...

Making Muddy-Grassy Goopy Soupy in the garden .....

"Home-grown, freshly picked ingredients are always best. Grass is the primary ingredient in this recipe - along with other basics, like mud ..."

"Add ingredients to large mixing bowl ... or a rubbish bin will do ... Making sure that it is partially filled with stagnant rain water ..."

"Stir well with big stick found at local playground ..."

"Allow to settle for 3-4 weeks ... or until it smells really bad ..."
